Starting Point

CaptureCraft didn't have a website yet. As a photographer, his work lives and dies by its visual language – so a portfolio site had to convince visually first, showcasing the range of his services from portrait to event to product photography.

Design Decisions

The focus was clearly on design: large, screen-filling photos with minimal text so the work itself stays front and center. Rather than long descriptions, the images were meant to tell the story and convey a feel for the photographer's style.

Implementation

  • Homepage with full-screen photos, deliberately kept text-light
  • Dedicated service pages per offering (portrait, event, product) with gallery and key info
  • About page introducing the photographer and his style
  • Contact page for inquiries and booking, secured with Cloudflare Turnstile against spam bots
  • On-page email address protected with Cloudflare
  • Site runs behind Cloudflare as CDN and security layer
  • Consistently calm, minimalist layout that lets the images do the work

Dedicated pages per service, a personal about page, and a clear way to get in touch are typical elements of a multi-page business website – adapted here to a photographer's visual requirements.
