Starting Point
Transport companies like Nirad Concept offer local, national, and international freight, furniture, and parcel delivery – often with no online presence at all. Inquiries usually only happen over phone or WhatsApp, with no upfront sense of pricing for prospects. This concept designed a one-page website to close exactly that gap.
Goal
The goal was to demonstrate how a transport company could give prospects an automatically calculated price estimate right on the website – instead of relying purely on a phone call. At the same time, the concept was meant to show that a single well-considered feature doesn't require a full Smart Business Website : a lean one-page site can be extended with exactly the one feature that makes the biggest difference for a given business – without the scope or price of a complete Smart Website project.
Implementation
- One-page site with an overview of all transport services (local, national, international, furniture, B2B, express)
- Interactive price calculator: pickup and destination addresses are converted into a distance via the OpenStreetMap API
- Price calculation based on distance, package weight, and volume
- Contact form for individual quote requests, built with the EmailJS API (free tier of 200 emails/month)
- FAQ section covering vehicle, capacity, and the booking process
- Google Maps embed for location, plus legal details in the footer
The price calculator is the concept's only complex feature – everything else stays deliberately lean. This combination of a simple structure with one targeted custom feature shows how flexibly our modular web solutions adapt to different budgets and requirements.
Additional Sections
Beyond the price calculator, the concept shows how services, trust signals, and contact options come together clearly on a single page.
